We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Finance to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Finance in designing, producing, and reviewing financial reports, insights, and analytics to enable strategic decision-making across the organisation.

• Oversee the production and analysis of comprehensive financial reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and other non-financial information
• Collaborate with Financial Managers and the Reporting team to deliver high-quality, impactful business reports that meet agreed standards, formats, and timelines
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support the achievement of business objectives across various units, clients, and sectors
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise organisational performance and drive growth
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable input and analysis
• Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation initiatives

Qualifications

• First degree in Business Commerce or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within a corporate environment
• Proven expertise in financial insights and analytics, with a strong background in finance and value management
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Advanced proficiency in financial software, tools, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in South Africa
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
