High level about the Role The CFO Services Manager is a key role within the firm and will provide support on the following service offerings: investment fund accounting & reporting oversight, as well as performing management company accounting and operational functions for client organizations. This is a varied and versatile role where client service and back-office functions will need to be carried out.
Reporting Structure The Manager will report directly to the Managing Director xe2x80x93 CFO Services.
Remuneration Level Remuneration will be market related and commensurate with experience and seniority. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a competitive benefits package and discretionary bonus scheme.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Accounting, General Ledger, Administration & Operations Management Company Level:

• Provide accounting and bookkeeping at the Company level

• Perform bank reconciliations and expense allocations

• Prepare quarterly financial statements

• Coordinate the completion of tax filings with external tax accountants

Fund Level:

• Supervise fund administration team, to ensure proper reporting

• Review and ensure application of appropriate controls and procedures

• Oversee period-end close process, reviewing procedures and eliminating inefficiencies

• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for

investors and other applicable parties

• Oversee and facilitate annual audits

• Coordinate the completion of tax filings with external tax accountants

Financial Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Develop and maintain financial budgeting (budget vs. actual) reports including profit and loss for

the Company

• Review and analyze financial results and provide recommendations

Financial, Cash Management & Treasury Services

• Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability

• Manage wire process and banking platforms

• Review and approve all disbursements, capital calls, and distributions

• Review and approve management fee and carried interest calculations

Additional CFO Services

• Act as liaison to attorneys, administrators, auditors, regulators, etc. including participating in

• conference calls, as requested.

• Assist with the preparation and implementation of control narratives

• Develop accounting policies and procedures, such as valuation, expense allocation, investment allocation, etc.

• Respond to investor requests and any ad-hoc reporting needed

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Microsoft proficient - Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of accounting systems, including Quickbooks
• Minimum 7 yearsxe2x80x99 experience within the Investment Management sector, which may include audit, fund administration or in-house investment adviser accounting
• Expert level understanding of investment management and private equity
• Prior experience in dealing with clients and managing relationships from a service perspective.
