Our client is looking for a Manager: Business Unit to join their dynamic team, Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or Logistic Management
5 Years experience in the Airline and Freight industry
3 Years Key Account Management experience
Effective knowledge of South African Civil Aviation Regulations (SACARs), Basic Conditions of Employment Act, health and Safety Act and other regulatory requirements applicable to the work environment
Cost, revenue and cash management including date and financial analytics
Key Responsibilities: Contract and rate negotiations Draft Service Level Agreements by consulting with customers and internal stakeholders to give effect to the customers requirements within the capabilities of the company's Operations. Inform the relevant departments of requirements of the customer contracts to adhere to contractual obligations. Monitor expiry dates of contacts to extend, renew or add additional information by way of addendum to the contracts where required. Business Development Obtain extensive knowledge of customer requirements within the market through relationships within the market to aid in decision making. Grow existing customer base by offering customers various solutions. Offer value-added service offering to aid in customer growth. Keep customer informed of new developments in terms of flight availability, routes and service offering. Revenue growth and revenue targets Develop and maintain pricing structures to achieve the highest yield without jeopardising break-even volume. Identify and implement new service offerings to aid in revenue growth. Implement revenue targets. Reviews and report on targets by comparing actual versus target revenue Customer retention and acquisition Retain existing customers by maintaining a professional working relationship Resolve customer complaints by engaging with the relevant departments
