Job Description
An industry leading Bank has an exciting opportunity available for a Manager: Analytics Engineering to join their team.
Role Purpose:
The Manager: Analytics Engineering is responsible for designing and managing data pipelines, ensuring scalable and efficient analytics operations. This role will also oversee the development of feature stores and data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines.
- Oversee the creation of feature stores for AI/ML model development.
- Oversee the creation of semantic models for analytics and reporting support/self-service - Ensure integration of data engineering solutions with analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with data science and BI teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Implement best practices in data engineering and governance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
- Proficiency in data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling.
- Experience with cloud-based data engineering (AWS, Azure, GCP).
