Executive Chef Responsibilities
Lead a culinary brigade at five-star luxury level.
Design and execute creative menus tailored to international dietary requirements.
Deliver fine dining experiences, wine pairings, and photo-shoot-ready plating.
Manage back-of-house operations, including cost control, menu costings, and stock management.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on new menus.
Travel occasionally to Botswana to oversee lodge operations.
Lodge Manager Responsibilities
Oversee front-of-house operations for ultra-luxury lodges and camps.
Manage guest relations for VIP international clientele.
Lead and train staff in service excellence, reservations, and reception.
Coordinate guest logistics and ensure smooth lodge operations.
Work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver a cohesive guest experience.
Prior five-star lodge / hotel / resort experience (South Africa or internationally).
Proven track record in ultra-luxury environments.
Ability to manage staff training, guest services, and lodge administration.
Both candidates must have own transport (remote location).
Must be comfortable working in a remote, luxury safari environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and guest relations skills.
