Senior Financial Controller / Management Accountant
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Management Accountant with over 5 years of post-SAICA articles financial experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing comprehensive financial functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and stakeholder communication. This position is will be based on-site in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs.
Key responsibilities include:

• Timely reporting of financial results to shareholders and international stakeholders
• Monitoring and analyzing debtors, creditors, cost of sales, and departmental expenses
• Preparing and maintaining annual budgets within SAP
• Managing liquidity through daily cash flow reporting and monitoring against targets
• Analyzing manufacturing costs such as overheads, labor, and materials in line with standard costing
• Overseeing asset registers and conducting physical counts versus theoretical records
• Leading and mentoring the finance team to ensure efficient service delivery
• Coordinating internal audits, liaising with external auditors, and addressing queries
• Supporting tax calculations, deferred taxation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Initiating and driving cost-saving projects and process improvements
• Providing accurate financial forecasts, including monthly profit and loss analysis
• Managing employee welfare, payroll, and internal policies

Qualifications & Skills:

• BCompt Degree (Management Accounting) or equivalent
• SAICA membership or registration
• Strong proficiency in SAP and ERP systems
• Fluency in English
