Job Description

CIMA qualified Management Accountant with minimum 2-3 years' post qualification experience, preferably in control development and system implementation, required to lead the design and execution of strategic finance projects and taking ownership of the treasury function, for a Fintech Company based in Stellenbosch.
Minimum requirements:

• CIMA qualification essential
• Minimum 2-3 years' post qualification experience essential
• Experience in control development and systems implementation advantageous
• Must be willing to travel

Responsibilities:

• Join the Group Finance Team to focus on building and strengthening financial structures
• Lead, design and execute strategic finance projects
• Take ownership of the treasury function
• Develop a holistic understanding of the business
• Identify inefficiencies in the control environment
• Conceptualise, design and execute financial projects to enhance financial operational and financial effectiveness
• Support development and documentation of the financial control environment across the group
• Build financial models to support business operations, treasury planning and long term financial strategy
• Assist in details cash flow forecasting
• Analyse debtor's book and provide insights into the impact on the business
• Contribute to opex benchmarking and conduct comprehensive group-wide cost analysis
• Lead and support the implementation and development of new financial software and tools
• Align software rollouts with an optimal control environment
• Enhance and embed controls post software implementation
• Provide analysis and insights to support the development of financial tools and dashboards
• Develop systems to enable accurate and efficient branch-based accounting
• Drive change management systems
