Job Description
Based at the corporate head office in Midrand, with occasional travel to production sites outside Johannesburg, this position forms a key link between finance, operations, and strategy. The successful incumbent will be responsible for full management accounting, performance reporting, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyse monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance-tracking processes across entities.
- Conduct detailed variance and trend analysis with actionable insights.
- Support commercial and operational teams with cost, margin, and profitability analysis.
- Develop financial models to support strategic business initiatives.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data within ERP systems.
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance, and process efficiency.
- BCom Accounting / CIMA qualification (completed or in progress).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong management reporting, analysis, and financial modelling skills.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency (SAP / Syspro advantageous).
- Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and hands-on approach.
- Immediate availability and ability to travel to operational sites required
