Ricoh South Africa is recruiting for the position of Management Accountant. The successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting the financial function from a governance, planning and analysis point of view. Assistance in decision making process by collecting, analysing, investigating, and reporting financial data in adherence with IFRS/US GAAP and other applicable regulations.
What you will be doing
Fixed asset management and related record-keeping.
Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements and management accounts.
Perform monthly variance analysis on all accounts per Line of Business.
Review and maintain monthly cash flow forecasts.
Run the budgeting and forecasting process and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes including planning and budgeting and ensure compliance with appropriate financial standards and best practices.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory processes including IFRS and J-Sox.
Run the audit and liaise with auditors.
Support pricing, claims and fund management function.
Policy creation and adjustments to current policies when a need arises.
Assistance with the co-ordination of cash management and banking administration
Taxation.
Finance business partner to multiple teams, ensuring drivers for performance are clearly communicated and insight provided to these teams.
Work with statutory finance to assist deep driving financial information for budgets and reporting.
Develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with finance and business customers.
Complete ad-hoc requests from group relating to compliance.
Ad-hoc requests for the Financial Manager, Financial Director and CEO
You will ideally have
Grade 12 essential
Qualified Chartered Accountant with Articles is mandatory
1 - 3 years experience
Strong IFRS knowledge
Competence in Advanced Excel
Meticulous with attention to detail
Deadline-oriented
Good Time Management skills
Data Entry Management skills
Excellent people management and leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; questioning mind
