Job Summary:

We are seeking a

highly competent Management Accountant

to join our finance team. This role requires a strong background in

financial accounting

, with

minimum 2 years' experience in a senior accounting role

, and hands-on proficiency in

OMNI

and

SAGE

systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations. Utilize

Omni ERP and Sage software

to process invoices, track expenses, and generate financial reports. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and system efficiency. Support audits by providing necessary financial data and reports. Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. Supervise and support two junior accounts clerks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior financial/accounting role

Minimum of 2 years of experience using Omni ERP and SAGE software (non-negiotable)

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Environment:

This role is in-office. Applicant must be able to reliably commute to our facility in Jacobs, Durban.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R18000,00 - R20000,00 per month
