Job Description
We require the services of a skilled Management Accountant with a sound understanding of accounting principles to join our Agricultural Group.
Requirements:
Relevant Qualification: Management Accountant with SAIPA/AGA/ACMA/CGMA accreditation Advanced Excel; MS Navision (ERP solution) Paltrack / Palbroker system experience
Key Performance Areas
Management Accounting Financial Planning - Develop and maintain costing models and pricing analysis for nursery and farming operations Support non-finance managers in understanding budgets, forecasts and cost structures Conduct regular financial review to enhance financial accountability Assist in operational process improvements, including inventory control Implement and maintain strong financial controls and governance frameworks together with central finance Assist with audit process and financial risk management Third party grower administration Grower main contact point in finance and administration Export system ownership (incl. administration/maintenance/improvements) Group royalty calculations, reporting and administration in line with contractual obligations Coordination and preparation of annual budget Assist with the creation and implementation of best practices Compliance and risk - insurance of fruit, exchange control administration Other compliance related tasks (export / exchange control) Annual audit assistance Other ad hoc finance and operational related tasks
