SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven Management Accountant to take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and monthly reporting in a high-performing environment. This role requires strong business partnering skills, hands-on involvement with financial operations, and a proactive approach to driving performance through numbers.
POSITION INFO:
We're looking for a professional who thrives on structure, precision, and partnering with operations to drive performance. In this role, you'll lead budgeting processes, monitor and manage costs, support forecasting, and ensure accuracy in monthly reporting. You'll also be a key contributor in aligning financial insights with strategic decisions making you more than just a number cruncher.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Full ownership of monthly closes, budgets, and variance analysis
- Partnering with operational teams to support decision-making
- Monitoring cost controls, analysing trends, and driving financial efficiency
- Supporting tax compliance, system governance, and data accuracy
- Bridging finance, admin, and operational functions to ensure seamless processes
- A Diploma or Degree in Finance/
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Management or Cost Accounting role
- Advanced Excel skills and experience on SAGE (or similar systems)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A hands-on approach and a mindset for continuous improvement
