Job Description


Our client is currently looking for an IT Manager to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for the full Technical Management of the MIT division, SLA deliverables, staff performance and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

  • Member of MIT product Manco with input into product design, delivery and improvement.
  • Responsible for delivery and management of systems that deliver product value.
  • Financial Management.
  • Ensure MIT is run in line with budgeted costs and resource performance metrics.
  • Continuously evaluate methods for automation to reduce HR overhead in remediation.
  • Develop IT budgets.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure that the price points are always competitive.
  • Customer Service.
  • Full responsibility for achieving agreed customer service metrics
  • Implement technology and automation to enhance customer experience
  • HR
  • 1st line management of 1st and 2nd line support, Monitoring, Professional Services and Field Engineers
  • Coachesxe2x80x99 members of the IT teams, particularly IT leaders, so everyone stays on the same page across the company.
  • Technical Strategy
  • Define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity.
  • Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for MIT needs levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
  • Ensures the company's data remains secure by keeping up to date on the latest cyber security threats and finds ways to guard against them on an organisation-wide scale.
  • Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
  • Adopting technologies that are in line with a business's growth and objectives.
  • Adopting new technologies while ensuring they don't introduce risks to the company they represent.
  • Planning business growth objectives with regards to technology.
  • Governance
  • Evaluate and implement where required critical governance frameworks including ISO and ITIL.
  • Creating IT policies and maintaining standards
  • Reporting
  • Operational metrics
  • Customer satisfaction indices
  • Internal systems performance
Salary:
  • R40 000 - R45 000 per month
