General Job Information Job Purpose: To welcome all guests and coordinate the scheduling and utilisation of all dining venues in the respective/dedicated floor. Responsible for the overall dining experience including the dining area, the Staff Restaurant xe2x80x93 Bistro and Auditoriums. . Must align to client values and service expectations. Employment Type FTC Rosebank Minimum Experience:

  • Customer Service experience is essential
  • At least 2 years Food & Beverage experience
  • 2 xe2x80x93 4 years of management experience in a restaurant or hotel environment

  • Establish and build a relationship with client representatives
  • Takes ownership of guest satisfaction
  • Understand client requirements and ensure daily communication is maintained with the client in terms of operational service delivery requirements
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
  • Delivery of service levels as per customer satisfaction and SLA measures
  • Ensure that the restaurant and other client areas are always kept to a high standard of neatness and cleanliness,
  • Ensure that dining rooms meet requirements and are set up according to pre-determined standards.
  • Ensuring that a full daily check of dining rooms is carried out and that issues are raised promptly as per SOP in a timely fashion
  • Be cross trained in all front of house tasks, so that can undertake duties of any team member as required
  • Record and maintain statistical data of all guests situated in the particular area that you are managing
  • Making reservations for the executive dining area on the ground floor and Deck on 8
  • Present the menu to guests and describe the dish if required
  • Welcome visitors, clients and employees to the venues
  • Escort clients, where necessary.
  • Work with facilities teams to ensure the management of the plants, decorations, displays and publications in the area in the work areas and/or waiting areas to ensure that materials/products are current and up to date
  • Check the quality of food ordered prior to it going out onto the restaurant floor
  • Check if the dining rooms, staff restaurant and Auditoriums, deck on 8 are ready for service (e.g. plates, glasses, napkins and table and serving accessories)
  • Working with the waiting staff ensuring the operation is running smoothly and waiters are handling the guests orders efficiently and professionally, that all tables are receiving prompt and accurate service and that meals are arriving on time.
  • Follow up on calls logged and escalate as per SOP should calls logged remain unresolved
  • Always maintain a professional appearance
  • Adhere to all standards, policies and procedures at all times
  • Assist in all other service areas when required
