Our client is seeking a well-groomed and guest-focused Maitre'd to lead front-of-house service at their new Halaal restaurant in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. This is a key role for a hospitality professional who excels in customer interaction and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Description
The Maitre'd will serve as the face of the restaurant, managing reservations, guest flow, and front desk duties. You'll work closely with the management team and service staff to ensure every guest is welcomed and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with professionalism and warmth
- Manage table flow and reservations efficiently
- Assist in service coordination and guest satisfaction
- Resolve guest concerns calmly and effectively
- Maintain front-of-house presentation standards
Start Date: ASAP
Opening Date of Restaurant: 1 September
Working Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday: 9am-3pm or 3pm-9pm
- Friday & Saturday: 9am-4pm or 3pm-10pm
- Prior experience in a front-of-house role in a restaurant or hotel
- Friendly, well-spoken, and professional demeanour
- Ability to remain composed in a busy service environment
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Available immediately and based in Cape Town
