Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Support preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery (motors, pumps, conveyors, chillers, hydraulics, etc.)
• Assist with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving equipment breakdowns
• Learn to perform basic repairs under supervision (welding, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
• Adhere to maintenance schedules, keeping accurate logs and records
• Maintain facility hygiene and equipment sanitation to meet food safety standards
• Collaborate with operators and staff to minimize downtime
• Apply safety, compliance, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Participate in projects to upgrade or improve plant reliability

What Were Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, an engineering diploma/certificate (electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, or refrigeration) OR artisan/trade qualification
• Interest in food production, plant maintenance, or industrial engineering
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and attention to detail
• Willingness to perform manual and technical tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, safety standards, or production machinery is advantageous
• Drivers license preferred but not mandatory
• Available to work January 2026 to January 2027
