Maintenance Planner Production
Durban - KwaZulu Natal - South Africa
Our client, a listed and leading plastics manufacturer based in Durban, serving customers and markets in South Africa, Africa and beyond, is looking for a Maintenance Planner to join their team to maintain all equipment pertinent to the production plants to ensure a consistent level of product quality & to ensure plant reliability.
Requirements:
- Trade tested in Engineering field
- Maintenance experience in Heavy Industrial Equipment
- Proven experience n maintenance planning & scheduling using SAP maintenance system
- Prepare job package and input plan into SAP indicating the required resources, materials, and services.
- Identify task activities necessary to execute job plan.
- Identify materials / tools / equipment required to perform tasks.
- Identify / solicit safety information and requirements necessary to safely perform tasks.
- Consider material costs when selecting materials from specifications.
- Review work orders for technical completeness .
- Carry out field check when needed.
- Record tasks / information within the work order.
- Identify resource requirements for the scheduled jobs using the job plans
- Build the "week schedule" making the most effective and efficient use of available resource and issuing the schedule.
- Monitors / reviews performance measures
