Job Summary Purpose of the role: To plan and coordinate all planned maintenance activities performed at the site to optimise manufacturing plants performance in a safe manner as per company's requirements. Key Role Responsibilities: xe2x80xa2 Plan and arrange activities related with equipment maintenance to ensure machine availability is achieved. xe2x80xa2 Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance planning meetings. xe2x80xa2 Place orders, received and control maintenance spare parts. xe2x80xa2 Control and manage maintenance store (stock levels). xe2x80xa2 Liaise with maintenance suppliers for breakdown resolutions (quotations annual inspections of equipment as per standard.) xe2x80xa2 Ensure equipment compliance with safety and legal requirements. (Load certification cherry pickers inspection and load testing). xe2x80xa2 Ensure plant equipment calibrations including gas units' calibrations pressure vessels. xe2x80xa2 Ensure proper planning for building maintenance. xe2x80xa2 Ensure maintenance quality system is adhered to through certification compliance. xe2x80xa2 Support cross functional departments through administrative activities (Green Card System Management, shut down planning PO and PR). xe2x80xa2 Plan and support organisational safety audits. xe2x80xa2 Support the procurement department to secure multiple services providers for competitiveness. xe2x80xa2 Adhered to health & safety requirements and standards as per Company policy and standards. xe2x80xa2 Wears protective clothing as required by the OHS act. xe2x80xa2 Ensure immediate working environment is clean and tidy at all times. xe2x80xa2 Uses correct disposal bins for waste at all times. xe2x80xa2 Zero IOD's, unsafe or hazardous conditions. xe2x80xa2 Perform all tasks in accordance with the Group Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures. xe2x80xa2 Conduct monthly safety improvements and audits Qualifications, Skills and experience: xe2x80xa2 National Diploma Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or NQF Level 6 xe2x80xa2 Artisan Qualification (Trade: Mechanical Fitter / Millwright) is preferred xe2x80xa2 3-5 years' experience in the same role xe2x80xa2 Advanced Computer literacy xe2x80xa2 Must have own transport xe2x80xa2 Must be available to work on standby xe2x80xa2 Good communication skills. xe2x80xa2 Demonstrate good planning and organization skills. xe2x80xa2 Trustworthy and Honest. xe2x80xa2 Be able to work in a pressured environment. xe2x80xa2 Be able to understand, complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
