Responsible for providing technical and managerial expertise pertaining to the maintenance and operation of building structures, finishes, and mechanical or electrical services. Ensures reliable and safe continuous operation in accordance with statutory requirements and regulations in the buildings/equipment under his/her control.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance (Conveyor Systems, Racking, and MHE).
Facilities Management and Technical Issues.
Service Provider Coordination
Inventory & Procurement
Compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Budget Control
People Management
Reporting
Qualifications
A minimum of an N6 technical qualification
Computer literate, especially in G Suite. Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Knowledge:
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the business measures and targets relating to own role.
Have an in-depth understanding of relevant health and safety legislation.
Knowledge to manage stakeholder engagement and customers and service.
Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of one's own role on service delivery to internal and external customers.
Knowledge of the performance management process.
Knowledge of employee relations procedures.
Working knowledge of WCS (warehouse control systems).
Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults
Project management
Conflict resolution and management
Ability to conceptualise and implement synergies in different operations
Ability to analyze and interpret financial and performance indicators at a detailed level.

Experience:
2-3 years experience within a distribution environment, working across different department
Supplier procurement and management
