Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and update maintenance records and logs.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure machinery is operating efficiently.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably within the steel or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications are desirable.
