My client is an esteemed agricultural services company in South Africa, specializing in high-quality animal feed production. Renowned for innovation, sustainability, and comprehensive customer support. They are committed to optimizing animal health and productivity through top-tier feed solutions and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

The Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for planning the maintenance schedule, conducting inspections and repairs of machinery and equipment, managing spare parts inventory, overseeing repairs of unplanned breakdowns, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. Additionally, they will recruit and manage staff, control the plant's budget, ensure food safety and health standards, and comply with relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will possess practical mechanical and electrical knowledge, leadership skills, and exhibit behavioural competencies such as accountability, critical thinking, and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Grade 12 qualification is required.
• Technical Qualification: N6 Millwright or equivalent technical qualification is necessary.
• Trade Certificate: Must hold a valid Millwright trade certificate.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years technical experience as a qualified Millwright, preferably with previous experience in an animal feed factory, advantageous.
• Additionally, possession of a Category 2 Registered Wiremans License for Installation Electrician is essential.
