MAINTENANCE FITTER
SUPERVISOR
Ref: CXP066/2023 To undertake and be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the companyxe2x80x99s water and wastewater treatment plants
Salary tctc: R25 000 xe2x80x93 R28 000 xe2x80x93 dependent on experience and quals
Location: Durban South Main Duties include:

• Maintenance and fabrication work is performed to the required quality standards.
• Safe and efficient performance of electrical maintenance and fabrication duties
• Team management, control and supervision is vital to the role
• Ensure strict adherence to OHS regulations.
• Maintain safe working procedures
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance work
• Ensure all work procured adheres to procurement policy
• Ensure implementation of documented and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and management thereof
• Ensure best practice with maintenance work with adherence to OEM requirements and relevant ISO standards

Criteria:

• Currently unemployed xe2x80x93 this is a contract position
• Grade 12 certificate
• Certified artisan fitter or fitter and turner
• Valid code 08 driverxe2x80x99s license.
• 2 - 5 years proven experience as a qualified fitter/ fitter and turner.
• 2 xe2x80x93 5 years related Management experience
• Preferably an N3 in wastewater and water treatment practice.
• Leadership skills, financial acumen, analytical skills, knowledge of commercial terms
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literate
