Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Maintenance Artisan based in Malmesbury.
Requirements:
- N3 level plus electrical trade test.
- 2+ years in a food manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge:
- Engineering and Technology
- Engineering Science
- Electrical
- Computers and Electronics
- Production Principles
- Quality control
- Mathematics
- Production and Processing
- Technical regulations
- Health and safety practices
- Risk Management
- Equipment and Machines used in the operation.
- Ensure that daily preventative maintenance schedules are carried out.
- Ensure that daily planned, unplanned and breakdown work is completed.
- Identify reoccurring equipment failure and conduct root cause analysis.
- Assist the handy man technically where needed and ensure the quality of work delivered.
- Ensure that critical spare lists and tools are requested and control the spares issued.
- Ensure that all administrative work is carried out as per work procedures.
- Drive and ensure the implementation of health and safety initiatives.
- Carry out GMP and housekeeping duties per work procedures.
- Participate in team building improvements.
- Identify risks and take calculated risks.
