Overview




To manage and plan daily maintenance related tasks and communication with the maintenance team. All activities, roles and responsibilities are aligned to the world class (manufacturing) philosophy, principles and practices

Qualifications



Grade 12 Matric (Maths and Science) N3 or 4 Engineering Trade Specific Artisan (Red Seal) CRMP - Certified Reliability Maintenance Professional (Advantage)
###

Experience



5-8 Years Experience in a Maintenance Environment as an Artisan Specialised in specific engineering equipment 3 Years Experience managing people
###

Duties



Human Relations:




Employee Relations Work allocation Artisan Training Team Performance Measurement Employee Development Discussion Disciplinary Actions

OHS Act Compliance:




Ensure Statutory compliance Ensure safe work procedures are followed

Responsible for MTBF




Execution of PPM & Strategic maintenance work Execution of PPM and Strategic Maintenance Inspections Strategic fault finding Spares Procurement or Usage Down time and incident reporting on strategic equipment

QC for PPM:




Over inspections Manage the Schedules for PPM PPM QC Feedback

5S:




Drive 5S principles

People Management:




Review Artisan performance Review Artisan Utilisation Liaise with operations team leads
