Our client in the FMCG sector based in Kirkwood is currently looking to employ a Maintenance Artisan - Millwright.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 / N3 and recognized trade tested certificate in the Millwright discipline.
- At least 5 yearsxe2x80x99 appropriate experience.
- Computer literacy.
- Driverxe2x80x99s license.
- Safety awareness.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Ability to self-manage.
- Results oriented.
- Maintain exemplary work standards.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Contributing to team success.
- Willingness to work shifts when required.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety, environment, quality, and housekeeping.
- Execute planned and preventative maintenance in accordance with the operations schedule.
- Breakdown work and fault finding [Electrical, Mechanical and PLCxe2x80x99s.]
- Candidate will be expected to have the ability to plan his/her work and work under pressure.
- Apply fault-finding techniques, and repair equipment defects.
- Clean, maintain and repair mechanical parts, components and equipment as directed by the foremen.
- Conduct regular plant inspections.
- Carry out workshop fabrication, equipment assembly and installation.
- Attain and maintain relevant licenses and authorizations required to execute allocated duties e.g. working at heights. Work in full compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Able to complete job cards.
