Logistics Operations Manager
Job Description
Leading recycle management company based in an industrial area in Cape Town, is recruiting for an experienced Logistical Operations Manager with at least 4 -5 years' experience. The company is contracted to provide certain services to the construction industry.
The ideal incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Oversee daily site operations
Ensure equipment readiness
Manage teams
Maintain exceptional service standards for the clients
Ensure sites are fully covered and operational each day
Confirm all equipment is on-site and in working order
Plan staff leave and allocate site coverage.
Manage waste and recycling processes, including orders and collections
Maintain and meet client expectations
Administration
Complete paperwork accurately and on time for multiple sites
Conduct and manage vehicle checklists
Logistics
Qualification:
Matric
Tertiary qualification will be adv
At least 4 -5 years' experience in the recycling industry
Computer Literate MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attributes:
Very good communication skills and ability to plan well
Ability to coach employees to work more efficiently and have the capacity to manage people dynamics
High energy levels
Ability to work independently and be part of a team
Strong administrative skills
Must be willing to work overtime as and when required.
