Job Description
SUMMARY:
A position has opened for an experienced Logistics Manager with solid fruit industry experience in Stellenbosch.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Logistics, Supply Chain or related qualification
- More than 4 years of experience in a similar role, in the fruit export industry
- Book and manage containers and vessels
- Daily stock control and stock related queries
- Allocate pallets to containers and send vessel info to freight forwarders to finalise export documentation
- Send clients suitable and relevant info on packing lists and invoices
- Daily planning for loadings
- Discuss new business with service providers and assess current providers
- Finalise costings for commercial team
