Minimum Requirements

Proven experience inTier 1 automotive supply in a managerial role / function within Automotive Industry A tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or related field Hands-on buying experience Strong numerical and analytical skills ERP system proficiency and a sharp eye for detail A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with leadership flair 5 years' working experience in Supply Chain in the Automotive Industry

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategic - The Logistics Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning logistics operations with our broader business strategy.



This includes:


Developing and executing a forward-looking logistics plan Leading RFQs and supplier negotiations to reduce costs and improve reliability Ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, production, and distribution

Operational Efficiency - Current logistics processes require tighter control and proactive planning to:


Prevent stockouts and overstocking Manage run-in/run-out programs linked to engineering changes Improve documentation accuracy and inventory visibility

Risk & Compliance Management - The role is essential for:


Conducting workplace risk assessments and ensuring SHE compliance Managing logistics-related quality assurance systems to prevent customer complaints Upholding financial governance and protecting company assets

People & Performance Leadership - The Logistics Manager will:


Build and lead a high-performing logistics team Drive accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement Support transformation goals, including HDSA and female representation targets

Financial Impact - With direct influence over working capital, transport costs, and supplier terms, this role will:


Contribute to budget planning and cost control * Identify savings opportunities through process optimization and supplier audits
