Logistics Manager

Job Description

Must have experience in logistics between Zimbabwe and South Africa, including cross-border procedures. The role involves managing our trucking company, which operates daily trips between Zim and SA
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes.
Manage and monitor warehousing, distribution, transportation, and customer services.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
Ensure inventory control and accurate record keeping.
Oversee the selection and management of freight carriers and logistics partners.
Analyse logistical problems and produce new solutions.
Maintain performance metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Knowledge of logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS).
Proven track record of managing logistics operations and teams.
