Logistics Coordinator

Job Description
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Logistics qualification beneficial
- Relevant industry experience (fruit & related)
- Able to work remotely after hours / weekends, when needed
- Relevant experience of managing vehicles/clients in the Western Cape will be beneficial
- Minimum 5 years in logistics / transport (required)
- Operational coordination experience (beneficial)
- Experience Datatim, Power BI, MS Office
Operational
- Capture loads on Datatim / TMS
- Issue load confirmations & booking of offloading slots
- Ensure valid permits for vehicles
- Sourcing of vehicles from transporters
- Monitor transporter revenue & CPK
- Reduce stand-overs
- Documentation, invoice queries
- Claims processes
- Support Operational Manager
- Responsible for valid GIT for transporters
- Deal with daily orders
- Planned loads confirmation
- Communicate ETAs, vehicle details, load information
- Contacting clients
