An industry leader in the industrial weighing equipment industry is seeking a passionate and proactive Logistics and Operations Manager.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a

Logistics and Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, transportation, and distribution of our industrial weighing equipment. The Logistics Manager will work closely with various departments within the company to ensure that products are delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Fleet & technician scheduling:

Scheduling fleet and technicians according to projects Collaborate with fleet controller on service and maintenance of fleet Update and maintain fleet and technician schedule according to operational requirements Liaise with the health and safety department to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and technician training Liaise with different departments on scheduling and projects Manage drivers and allowances according to operational requirements

Other responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs Prepare and analyze logistics reports to identify areas for improvement Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards Assist management with client report compilation and presentation

Minimum requirements:

Qualification in logistics, business management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management Strong knowledge of transportation and distribution processes Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google platforms and logistics and tracking software Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong business acumen Ability to assist with HR and wage related queries Valid passport Ability to work outside standard office hours
