Job Title: Logistics Coordinator in the Animal Feed Industry

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at quoted cost. You will be involved in scheduling, transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
  • Communicate and assist suppliers, customers, and transporters.
  • Negotiate transport tariffs.
  • Process of orders.
  • Admin - data entry, POD capture, claim processing, accident reports, etc.
  • Assist with customer stock control.
  • Irregular working hours, available to assist before and after hours is a must.
Salary:

Skills /Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking English and Afrikaans.
  • Excellent in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Deadline driven with accuracy and detail orientation.
  • Function effectively and efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quick critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Work independently, communicate and liaise effectively with all levels within the company.
  • Ability to track multiple processes.
  • Outstanding planning, leading, organising and control skills.
