My client is looking for an experienced Lodge Manager for their 5* lodge in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. At least 3 xe2x80x93 5 years of Management experience in a 5-star boutique operation Hospitality and Service Training experience In-depth knowledge of classic and current food and beverage trends and market Energetic, proactive person with a well-developed concept of the importance of providing a world-class guest experience, and the ability to provide that experience Passionate about sustainable tourism and conservation Driven, energetic, compassionate and ambitious, with strong leadership and mentoring skills Unrelenting attention to detail and high standards Structured manager with experience in leading diverse teams Open-minded and able to think outside of the box Responsible for day-to-day operations of the lodge. This includes all aspects that affect the guest experience Human resource management and staff development of direct team members Build upon the existing guest experience to create new ideas and to ensure the product remains fresh and modern Building relationships with new and repeat guests Standards are continuously met and visible throughout the daily functioning of the property Understand personal guest needs through interaction Ensure that minimum standards as per BOPs are adhered to in all departments Assist with monthly planning xe2x80x93 training, guest requirements and staffing levels The ability to motivate and inspire yourself and others Excellent interpersonal skills and communication Fluent in English essential.
