Job Summary A wedding venue and lodge in Pretoria seeks to appoint a Lodge Manager to manage and oversee all operations at the lodge (marketing, reservations, check-in/check-out, guest relations, event co-ordination and management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, stock-control, financial management, maintenance, staff management and compliance with relevant regulations). This position is suitable for a hands-on Manager who needs to be actively involved and hands-on in all the operations of the Lodge. The Lodge Manager will also be required to submit written reports on the performance of the lodge to the relevant stakeholders. Minimum Requirements: Previous Management experience in a Boutique Hotel or Lodge is a prerequisite (non-negotiable) Experience in the use of on-line marketing portals for hospitality Experience in the use of hospitality software Report writing skills Contactable references from previous employers
