Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Lodge Management professional to spearhead the day-to-day operations of a Boutique Lodge & Spa, based in Hoedspruit. Role Overview: As the Lodge Manager, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the seamless functioning of our lodges, maintaining the highest standards of guest experience, and overseeing a team of dedicated staff members. This pivotal role calls for an individual with a strong background in Food & Beverage management, coupled with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will also be adept at implementing necessary disciplinary actions to address subpar staff performance, ensuring that our team remains committed to upholding our renowned standards of excellence. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge.
• Uphold and enhance the guest experience, ensuring that all service standards are met and exceeded.
• Implement effective strategies to maintain the highest levels of food and beverage quality and service.
• Lead and manage the lodge staff, providing guidance and support where necessary, and taking necessary disciplinary action when performance standards are not met.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of at least 5yrs lodge management in the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage management and guest service.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff members alike.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Resilience and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
