Hospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy- Lodge Management Couple Luxury Safari property- Timbavati Our client is looking for a vibrant, energetic Lodge Management couple to take control of this luxurious safari property, running the main camp and overseeing two private villas with enthusiasm and detail.
Requirements

• Degree or equivalent from a reputable & recognized Hotel School (Beneficial)
• At least 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a senior managerial role in a 4/5 star safari operation (ESSENTIAL)
• Excellent understanding of all functions within hospitality operations
• Exceptional knowledge of Front of House/ Front office and F&B management
• All management duties xe2x80x93
  • Hands on- Guest relations, Manage all departments, Assistance in all aspects of the lodge
  • Staff / HR xe2x80x93 management of all staff; monthly wages; recording of leave; oversee all departments; staff discipline
  • Administration xe2x80x93 stock control; month end stock counts; petty cash management; balancing of guest monies received; budget control
  • Rooms division- Housekeeping and F&B departments are running at the standard required; events management; cost management
  • Maintenance measures- schedule maintenance, preventative measures, knowledge and experience in how to do daily maintenance
• Excellent Customer Relations Skills- Hands on hosting duties
• Computer Literate (MS Office suite and reservations/ POS programs)
• Well spoken, takes initiative and leads by example for the team
• Detail-oriented, organised and responsible
• Proven record of managing staff effectively and empathetically
• Professional and well groomed
• Of Sober habits- excellent past track record
