Job Summary Lodge Management Couple / Lodge Manager - Luxury Lodge | Timbavati Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Benefits: Live-in position Kendrick Recruitment is seeking either a Lodge Management Couple or an experienced Lodge Manager to join a luxury lodge in the Timbavati. This role requires dynamic leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering world-class guest experiences. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the day-to-day lodge operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Oversee and support all departments, maintaining high standards across guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance. Deliver exceptional guest experiences through personal interaction and attention to detail. Manage; train, and mentor staff to uphold service excellence and company standards. Monitor and control budgets in collaboration with senior management. Ensure health, safety, and security procedures are adhered to at all times. Coordinate and plan strategically for ongoing operational success. Maintain the lodge facilities to the highest standards, managing preventative and reactive maintenance. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-end safari lodge management. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Knowledge of food, wine, and hospitality standards. Ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively in a remote environment. South African citizenship or valid work permit essential. A valid driver's licence and own transport required. Experience in staff management and labour relations, including dealing with trade unions, advantageous.
