This role is based in Amandelbult





-Follow work instructions and orders Daily inspection of loco and allocated hoppers, take necessary action for problems Battery fitment and ensure charging of replacement battery Minor servicing of loco Load hoppers from box fronts to given priorities Deliver and unload hoppers to ore/waste passes Deliver and unload materials and equipment to instructions Apply recognized work, operations and safety standards and participate in weekly safety meetings Ensure that tasks are completed to required quality standards Ensure that the loco is maintained according to set schedule Identify actions that could prevent and improve safety and work performance and report any safety related grievances or issues to the full time safety rep Ensure that any allocated support works together as a team while completing tasks Promote safety awareness by reminding team members to follow work procedures and identifying unsafe work practices Support logistics/operational team members if and when they require help Help engineering employees to maintain equipment Effective two way communications with team members

Qualifications

-Grade 10 Numeracy and Literacy. Grade 12 certificate will be advantageous Passed Loco Driver Training Module Competent B

To be successful, you will have the following experience:

At-least 1 - 2 years' experience as Loco Driver / Operator Pass relevant dover assessment Pass medical fitness assessment
