Job Title: Code 14 Truck Driver
Location: Strand, Somerset West
Salary: R40 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Code 14 Truck Driver to join our clients logistics team. The ideal candidate must have a valid EC license with PDP and experience driving Hino Poni, UD60, UD80 + trailer, and Mercedes Axor + link. The driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods while adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:

• Valid EC (Code 14) drivers license with PDP.
• Proven experience operating Hino Poni, UD60, UD80 + trailer, and Mercedes Axor + link.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of professional truck driving experience.
• Familiarity with road safety regulations and freight handling procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to delivery schedules.
• Physically fit to handle loading and unloading duties if required.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Needs to be fluent in Afrikaans and English

• Safely operate Hino Poni, UD60, UD80 + trailer, and Mercedes Axor + link vehicles.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to clients and distribution points.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Handle loading and offloading of goods as required.
• Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

• Based in Strand, Somerset West.
• Some long-distance travel may be necessary
