Job Description

Loan Affordability Administrator (Cape Town - Northern Suburbs) Responsibilities:

• Application Review: Evaluate loan applications to determine the applicant's financial stability and their ability to repay the loan.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze income, credit history, debt-to-income ratios, and other financial factors to assess the applicant's ability to afford the loan.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with each application and make recommendations regarding loan approval or denial.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all loan applications comply with relevant lending regulations and guidelines.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with applicants, loan officers, and other team members to gather necessary information and provide explanations regarding application decisions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of application reviews and decisions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, lending practices, and regulatory changes to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is often required.
• Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess an applicant's financial situation accurately.
