Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Indian Cuisine Cook to join our guest house in Centurion, Pretoria on a 3 to 6 month live-in contract. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for preparing all Indian meals--breakfast, lunch, and dinner--for guests and clients, while also ensuring high standards of hospitality and customer care. Daily lunch meals must be prepared and sent out to clients punctually every afternoon.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook any Indian dish (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), including regional and traditional varieties.
• Manage daily meal service for in-house guests: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Package and dispatch lunch meals to clients on time every afternoon.
• Plan menus, manage kitchen supplies, and maintain ingredient inventory.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and hygienic at all times.
• Ensure guests and clients are well taken care of, offering friendly and attentive service.
• Accommodate special dietary needs and custom meal requests when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef specializing in Indian cuisine.
• Must be able to prepare a full range of Indian dishes confidently and independently.
• Willingness and ability to live on-site in Centurion for the full contract period.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Punctual, reliable, and well-organized with good time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health safety standards.
• Experience in a guest house, lodge, or hospitality environment is advantageous.
