Line Manager - VilliersIntroductionMulti Green (Pty) Ltd is a fertilizer mixing plant in Villiers in the Eastern Free State, partly owned by VKB Landbou (Pty) Ltd since 2019. Since 2005 Multi Green specializes in the precision mixing and distribution of liquid as well as granular fertilizer. The company is well established and well known in the farming community and the fertilizer sector.The Line Manager is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the production team on the relevant line & shift, keeping to safe and productive work practices.RequirementsGrade 12/ NQF 4.Previous experience in a fertiliser mixing plant will serve as recommendation.Proven knowledge of Good Practice in the following fields: Production, Storage of Goods and Health and Safety.Willing to works shifts and overtime as operationally required.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure that Pre-startup checklist is completed as per the Product Mixing InstructionSupervision of staff within the responsible mixing line according to KPIxe2x80x99s and targets.Control of distributing and handling of production consumables.Checking of equipment calibration schedules and renewals according to Standard Operating Procedures.See to it that each product is sampled & stored according to Standard operating procedures.Together with the store personnel, ensure that all packaging materials are in good condition and that stock levels are monitored and ordered according to predicted production.Ensure that Best Practices are being used for the storage of stock.Identifying and reporting incidents regarding blenders, vehicles, equipment, and buildings in the production department to ensure that Health and Safety & optimal production is prioritised at all times.Implement and review the housekeeping schedule in the Production Department.Facilitate Toolbox talks as related to production results, health & safety, and training.Other InformationThe company can expire jobs at any time at their own discretion.VKB Group and/or its subsidiary companies will use any personal data collected through the job opportunities section of this website for recruitment purposes only and, should your application be successful, for purposes connected with your employment.VKB Group is an equal opportunity employer.
