Job Description


As a Line Lead, you'll manage the assigned CC production line(s) with 24 hours accountability to deliver business result i.e. planned production volume in accordance with budget, as well as meeting all the requirements for safety and quality, and fully applying the Integrated Operating System (IOS) and PMI standards and policies. You'll be the line(s) owner of (a) Incident Elimination, (b) Quality Trigger, (c) Clean Inspect and Lubricate and (d) Defect Handling Daily Management Systems (DMS).

More specifically, you'll

  • Ensure compliance to all PMI and Legal standards and directives related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss. Oversee Sustainability pillar tools (BOS, Safety metric, Quality Trigger, Incident Eliminationxe2x80xa6), Clean, Inspect & Lubricate and Defect Handling DMSs and Production attainment results. Promptly report waste segregation and any environmental pollution (noise becoming higher, dust, waste, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance to all PMI and Legal standards and directives related to Quality of incoming materials, SFGs and FGs in line with the QMS. Ensure that the quality trigger daily management system and standards are in place and used to guarantee the product quality, integrity and full traceability. As the quality trigger DMS owner, define targets, supervise the result of quality indicators and lead the follow-up actions to deliver high quality product. Ensure ownership of quality by focusing on quality at the source. Make sure that routine checks are done timely and efficiently, QFs and QIEs are timely raised and tackled. Respect sampling frequency, SPC and appropriate follow-up. Perform analysis and continuously improve (IPS/UPS) towards elimination of potential quality losses. Ensure regular and effective Recognition to team and apply Disciplinary steps if needed. Ensure that FPQ DMS and QIE SWP are in place and implemented in accordance to IOS standard.
  • Autonomously lead and set the 24 hours direction for the assigned line(s) during the Daily Direction Setting (DDS) to deliver the business results and ensure that follow-up actions are completed. Oversee Safety metric, Quality Trigger, Incident Elimination, Clean, Inspect & Lubricate and Defect Handling DMSs and Production attainment results. Ensure that key routines are in place and implemented (Shift DDS, Pre and Post Huddle). Lead and ensure Weekly and Monthly DDS are in place. Drive performance through Loss elimination and continuous improvement. Autonomously develop, lead and review the 90 days master plans to drive breakthrough results in machine performance in order to tackle the losses from (un)planned downtime. Ensure standard problem solving tools such as IPS, 6W2H & UPS are used to tackle the chronic problems on the line(s) in a timely manner. Follow up and initiate timely corrective/preventive actions to guarantee needed transactional and performance data records in all relevant systems and data based is precise and correct.
  • Become responsible to ensure maintenance task lists are in place and lead the maintenance activities in the assigned CC team to ensure stability, predictability and reliability of operations. Act as the owner of defect handling and clean, inspect and lubrication DMSxc2xb4s.
  • Effectively manage and empower the team to achieve the assigned CC line(s) business results. Perform regular coaching to develop capabilities of the team on the daily management systems according to the IMS and to support in the personnel skill/technical development of each team member in order to build ownership and team autonomy. Build effective working relationships with all partners through good communication, positive attitude and strong collaboration to enable the team to achieve the business result.
  • Lead the team through the IMS as an integral part of OPEN+. Define priorities and continuously improve technical and system aspects of the business. Propose and execute the agreed strategies by building execution plans, trainings and people development plans, empowering team members in the spirit of zero loss mindset. Ensure the completion of the established training plan.
Who we're looking for
  • Engineering Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of eight years of manufacturing experience, preferably in production or maintenance.
Proficiency in KPI tracking and monitoring, Production Scheduling, Maintenance Process and Process improvement
  • Proven track record in Manufacturing and people management
  • Good practical experience and technical knowledge of the manufacturing process, materials, and equipment
  • Capability to prioritise competing needs optimally
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Written and verbal English proficiency
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
