Job Summary Mud and Muse, an exciting new restaurant opening soon in Kempton Park is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Line Chef specializing in Hot and Cold Kitchen operations to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and plate both cold or hot dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and consistency. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen station in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Assist with inventory checks, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation to minimize waste. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order execution during busy service periods. Adhere to portion control and recipe guidelines to meet restaurant quality expectations. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Line Chef, Commis Chef, or similar role. Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and stock control practices. Culinary training or certification is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing dishes. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
