Job Summary:



We are seeking a proactive and experienced

Lettings Team Leader

to oversee our lettings operations across designated patches in London, UK. This pivotal role involves managing the day-to-day activities of the lettings team, driving individual and team performance to meet KPI targets, and identifying opportunities to grow our rental income and expand our property portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in residential lettings, proven leadership skills, and a strong commercial mindset. They will be responsible for motivating the team, delivering outstanding service to both landlords and tenants, and developing new business to support the continued success of our lettings department.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Leadership & Team Performance Management



Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Letting Negotiators and Viewing Agents. Set clear KPIs and performance targets, ensuring the team meets and exceeds objectives. Implement strategies to drive high performance, motivation, and productivity. Conduct regular training, one-on-one coaching, and performance reviews to develop team members' skills. Foster a competitive and results-oriented culture focused on business growth.

2. Business Development & Portfolio Growth



Develop and implement strategies to attract new landlords and developments Identify and maximize on opportunities to increase rental revenue and market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing landlords, tenants, and corporate clients. Work closely with marketing teams to enhance property exposure through digital and traditional advertising.

3. Lettings Operations & Client Management



Oversee the lettings process such as property listing, enquiries handling, booking viewing, collecting landlord feedback, closing a deal to ensure seamless operations Act as a key point of contact for high-value landlords and corporate clients, ensuring excellent service. Implement strategies to improve landlord retention and satisfaction.

4. Financial & Performance Management



Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing, upselling services, and minimizing void periods. Monitor key financial metrics, including rental yields, occupancy rates, and profit margins. Provide regular performance updates to the Director, including key statistics on team achievements, KPIs, rental performance, and market trends to support data-driven decision-making.

Person Specification:



Solid experience in Residential Lettings Industry with a proven track record in team leadership, business development, and delivering excellent service to landlords and tenants Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a team. Ability to develop and implement business growth strategies to attract new landlords and expand the property portfolio. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage complex operations effectively. Results-oriented, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sound understanding of financial management and performance metrics. Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic initiatives. Analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and rental performance statistics. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R19500,00 - R21500,00 per month
