Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage appointments, communication, and filing systems
  • Handle general administrative and secretarial tasks
  • Draft correspondence and assist with legal documentation
  • Prepare for meetings and court-related deadlines
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, and court personnel
  • Support attorneys and staff to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements:
  • Matric (post-matric legal/admin qualification beneficial)
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, CaseLines & Court Online
  • Previous legal secretarial experience in Family Law & Civil Litigation and or Debt Collection
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • Professional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with legal processes and terminology advantageous
  • Experience or exposure to the firms areas of practice is highly beneficial
