Job Purpose
The ideal candidate must have experience in the drafting and analysis of life policy wordings. This role includes the development and implementation of all policy documentation including checking that all forms pertaining to wordings such as schedules, endorsements and forms comply with the current legislative practices and market procedures. The candidate must also have experience in contract development and be able to generate template agreements and issue to business..
Key Responsibilities
Draft and Review policy wordings to ensure alignment to product specification and applicable legislation, compliance, claims, underwriting, business rules and Treating Customers Fairly principles
Work according to the defined processes for the management, storage and collation of all legal documentation
Review and sign off customer facing documentation received from business or the marketing team
Implement and ensure the successful operation of the contracts management process in Hollard Life
Process Invoices and co-ordinate legal team projects.
Contract generation Track requests for drafting agreements, perform due diligence checks on contracting party
Generate template agreements to be signed
Ensure that all the contracts that are received have been completed and correctly signed by both parties
Store all the required contracts in a central repository for Hollard Life
Legal Drafting and Reviewing Review and draft Policy Wordings
Review marketing materials and client communications (sms, website, brochure, etc)
Review Sales scripts
General Office Administration Drafting minutes and Reports
Setting up meetings
Regularly updating Legal activity report
Co-ordinating legal workshops
Facilitate Adhoc Legal Projects
Process invoices
