REQUIREMENTS:

Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an independent practitioner. Worked in Paediatrics as a Medical Officer in an Academic Department for at least 4 years. Registration with the as a Medical Specialist in Paediatrics will be an advantage Experience in undergraduate teaching and research will be an added advantage.

DUTIES:

The successful candidates will:


Provide training of undergraduate medical students as well as postgraduates. Actively involved in curriculum development Actively involved with assessment strategies and plans for undergraduate medical students Will include involvement with dental students and clinical associates too. Will be involved in the development of Work Based Assessments and EPAs (at postgraduate level)
