The IIE Varsity College, Waterfall Campus has a Lecturer: Victimology (Independent Contractor) vacancy in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences within the following qualification for the first semester of the 2024 academic year:

• IIE Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Ideal: A Bachelor of Arts Honours or Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Criminology and/ or Criminal Justice.
• Alternatively: Post-graduate Diploma, Masters (MA/ MPhil) or Doctorate (PhD/ DPhil) in Criminology and/ or Criminal Justice.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Preferably: Two years lecturing experience in the discipline of Criminology.
• Alternately: Work experience in one or other field related to forensic criminology, research, criminologist, forensic analyst, victim empowerment, correctional services.

Working Conditions:

• Availability to lecture part-time during the week, between 8:00am xe2x80x93 5:30pm (on campus)
• Deliver module content as prescribed in Module Outline
• Provide a student support function through consultations, where necessary
• Grade all assessments for assigned classes
