Nova Pioneer is looking for a Graphic and Video Content Designer with a passion and flair for researching and implementing cutting-edge design trends. You will be responsible for telling the Nova Pioneer story to various stakeholders, creating visual creative graphic and video content that represents Nova Pioneer's brand for creating awareness, educating, converting, and retaining families.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Associate Graphic and Video Content Designer you have an eye for detail and you are a stickler for brand consistency while applying your creative and strategic graphic design skills.

As a brand that prides itself on our ability to innovate and lead, your portfolio will include diverse projects. We are looking for someone who loves bringing their experience to a fast-paced team-oriented environment and who enjoys the challenge of building a powerful brand.

Your responsibilities will include:

Photography

• Take great photos for use across various platforms that are both offline and online
• Plan and execute on brand photoshoots for overall brand campaign and content and also for region's and tactical marketing campaigns
• Postproduction and editing of all photography

Graphic Design Content

• Design various marketing materials including but not limited to brochures, flyers, banners, social media content, and graphics

Video Content

• Video script writing, concept planning, shooting and editing high-quality videos to be used across various platforms including but not limited to social media platforms for both organic and paid digital and television advertising
• Postproduction and editing of all videography

Overall

• Be involved and participate in team discussions about campaigns and strategies with the target audience in mind
• Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across the organisation
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and visual identity
• Manage timelines and prioritisation of workload, and know when to ask for direction; optimise graphics and video content for social media platforms
• Maintain organised content files, and help to organise and archive existing videos and graphics files
• Maintain organised database of media release forms
• Perform other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

Skills and Qualifications:

A Diploma in Communications, Commercial/ Marketing/Business Administration, or any other related relevant field.

• A creative portfolio showcasing your proficiency in production and design.
• 2-3 years experience creating graphic and video creatives
• You possess great computer skills and have proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe Pr, Ae, Ps, Ai, Id)
• Experience using Canva is an added advantage
• You are a great collaborator and communicator: You are able to work within a team as a partner and have great written and verbal communication skills
• You are result-driven: You are goal-orientated, move fast and take ownership of work
• You are entrepreneurial and empathetic, you are able to understand the various Nova Pioneer stakeholders and think creatively about how to effectively communicate with them
• You are passionate about providing excellent education even if you have not worked in the education sector before
• You have very strong organisation, time management, and follow-up skills; a high sense of urgency; demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently
